I can't find my parent's health system
Sahara works with health systems that use MyChart (Epic). When you tap "Connect MyChart", you'll be asked to choose the health system and sign in with the account that has proxy access to your parent's record.
What is proxy access?
Proxy access is the official way a patient grants a family member access to their record. Your parent (or their clinic) sets it up from their MyChart account or at the front desk. Once you have it, your own MyChart login can view their record — and connect it to Sahara.
How do I disconnect?
Your session expires automatically within hours. To revoke access entirely, open your patient portal's settings and remove Sahara from connected apps.
Is the digest medical advice?
No. Sahara explains what's in the record in plain language and suggests questions for the care team. It never diagnoses or recommends treatment.
